5 Speed

Does any1 have a 5 speed tranny or know of one that is for sale? i dont wanna spend over 700 for one so a used one with low miles would be ideal.

Good luck. I got one in my parts car that I havent parted yet. I am going no lower than $1000 because it only has 71k on it.

StealthModifier, you were mentioned in a recent thread on 3si in the DFW3S regional sub-forum. there's a guy just outside of Dallas that is selling a fwd 5 speed with quaife LSD. here (http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=364514) is the thread. if you don't want the quaife, let me know b/c i'll take it off ur hands. he didn't post a price, but i'm sure you could get it for $700.

did he say what exactly he wants? how much for the LSD alone?

1300 plus shipping. which is a great deal considering he spent 1200 on the tranny then 1100 on the lsd then another 300 to have it installed. but i dont feel like throwing out that kinda money right now. i found a 5 speed on ebay im gonna bid on. Will a 5 speed out of a SOHC work with my DOHC???

uhhhh, i'm pretty sure it WILL work fine. however, stealthee is your man for that question. also, if you have the service manual on cd, you can search through there for the compatibility charts on the transmissions.

nah. im done with the stealth. its been nothing but a money pit ever since i got it an would take another 6 plus grand to get everything right on it. i came accross a mazda a few days ago and had to have it.

so i got an 06 MAZDASPEED 6.. will post pics later
