Just in case you didnt know...that's a 200ZR...very doable here in the states...it's powered by RB20DET and has a top mounted intercooler..hence the scoop. It's SOOOO sexy...probably the best looking thing to come out of the Z31 family...not to mention more potent than the VG30ET...

Umm, you should know that the VG30ET is VERY easyand inexpensive to tune to 350-375 HP, 400-500 gets a little tougher and more expensive. The RB20ET wont get you to 450 HP with out big money's

So the Z's with the center mounted scoup is not a 300ZX? if it isnt... will that hood fit on a 300ZX... I kinda think that hood is hot. It looks bad azz. I am looking for something nice to make my Z look different. I am into a conversion right now that will blow everybodies mind when I am done. 400HP... LMAO... that will be without upgrades. HEHEHE I will post when it is finished... may be a while though... but well worth it.

The 200 and 300 zr's are JDM 300 zx's. They are powered by different engines than the American 300 z's

The RB20DET not RB20ET is the one I speak of...

I am not saying that the VG30ET's are bad...just the overall package of the 200ZR is better for me...

Yeah, I typo'd the RB20DET. That swap is OK, but more expensive and wont net you any more power. My point being, that rather than going that route. Get more torque and HP by modding the heck outta a VG30ET

The RB wont torque like a VG, and we all know what torque will do for you. The Honduh guys have the same prob that the RB will give you. Not enough displacement. Even the Japanese guys that love the 200 ZR wish it was a 300 ZR.

The 300ZR is just the Z32 NA engine...222HP VG30DE

Yeah and that makes it a Z32, the guy's I was talking about would be the Z31 owners. Many swaps have been done to the 200 ZR in Japan, including VG30DETT's. Not that I'm saying the Rb20 is a pile or anything, it's just a little light weight for the chassis. The Z31 is a heavy chassis, any extra torque you can get will help you out in the long run.

I am sorry...I couldnt edit my last post above due to HEAVY TRAFFIC..anyways...the 300ZR is a Z31 w/the Z32 NA engine in it...it's a swap they did after the fact I believe...it's pretty cool
