1987 mr2 engine

hey i just bought a 1987 mr2 it has a blown head gasket and a bad alternator i was told that it would be better to buy a new engine than to fix the current one. does anybody know a good web site to find a new or used engine at??? and i am on a pretty tight budget. :banghead:
