ZC Swap, and now a friggin code 8

Yep, the swap is done, everything is in, cranks over, and over, and over. Then I get a code 8 on the ECU. Can anyone help me out? I have racked my brain trying to figure out how to fix it.:help:

Good Luck...It could be a bad tdc sensor in the distributor.

Hey. thanks for that diagram. I am going to be using it for sure. :)

I think it may also be a problem with the wiring, switching from the round plug, to the square plug. Rather than hack my wiring harness, I made a little adapter. So I need to sit down and recheck that wiring, then I will go from there.

Hahaha...the distributor wiring stinks....;) When going from my ZC wiring back to the round plug for the b16a I f'ed up and it would just sit there and crank over and over. Finally I got the wires straight but it took a while of searching on the net.:) Good Luck
