Ok, so here's the thing. I have around 1500 bucks for a new set of rims and tire combo. I wanted to get a set of Kazera 18x7.5 inch rims wrapped in Yokohama rubber. My main concern is whether or not the tires might rub on the fenders should I have to cut the wheel hard. And, I'm guessing that I'll have to fiddle with my speedometer to compensate for the bigger tires. Anyone care to give advice or share concerns? Thanks in advance!

What size tires you planning on getting?
I have Tenzo R Passion 5 18" x 7.5" Rims with size 40 tires and they don't rub at all. Of course I got a camber kit and tein coilovers but if you don't have it lowered, I don't see a problem. If you get a thicker tire then you may have a chance rubbing.
Previously I had 17" x 7" Rims w/ size 50 tires and they rubbed like crazy... eventually taking off a belt from the tire. So i'ts all about the tire size if all you're getting are 18".

I was thinking perhaps the Dunlop SP Sport FM901. There was only a couple different tires to choose from on tirerack. The size is - 215/40ZR18

Those tires may be OK. If you didn't lower your car that is. You should not have problems rubbing. If you do, just remove the fender splash guards in the front.
If you did lower your car then you may want to look at a thinner tire to be safe.

I have not and don't plan on lowering it. I'm just repainting the car and throwing on a decent set of rims.

What type and size of tire do you recommend? Or, what do you use?

I actually have Pirellis PZero Nero 215/40 ZR18 85W. They are great all weather tires and they look nice.
My friend has Faulken tires that are, I believe, 210/35 ZR18. He has a lower ride than I do so he required the thinner tire.
So what you were looking at should definately work.
