Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows how to or does chrome plating on plastic and die cast parts? I would like to chrome plate an old die cast to look like the Schumacher car that hotwheels made a while back.

Thanks Paul.

/\ like he said. when chrome plating model parts comes up, Chrome Tech USA is the only company that ever comes up. that either means they do a GREAT job, or they are the only ones willing to do model parts.

I've seen some of their stuff, and I must say, it is fandamntastic!

Or you could paint it with Alclad II chrome..

If the material is diecast, there's a home plating kit.

It doesn't work on plastic, but there might be a conductive material that can be sprayed on a plastic part to make its surface behave like metal, but I haven't looked hard enough to find such a product yet.
