newbie questions

hey i am new to the whole skyline/importing of cars and i was wondering where can i find some info on skylines and immporting to the us in general s i dont have to ask al of yall. for example what does gtr and vspec and all that jazz stand for? what were the models offered and in what years? like is there any good websites that yahll can refer me too or? thanx for any answers in advance
