What year for a good used 4x4?

What would be a good year to buy a good used F-150 4x4 either extended cab or crew cab with bench seats? Are there any years i should stay away from? Would be used for light towin' and haulin'. Any info would be great.

Right around 10k-15k.

i'd say a 2001 SuperCrew FX4 (that's what i'm looking for) the SuperCab has a second row of seats, but there's not much space back there and it's just not as good-looking.

$15k will get you a tidy ~40-60k SuperCrew with a 5.4 and good spec.
