'93 Protege LX pulls to left

I have a '93 Protege DOHC that has developed a pull/drift to the left. I've brought it in for an alignment a few times and they all say that it is right on. I've swapped tires/rims, checked for brake pulls and can't seem to find the problem. What's weird is that sometimes it doesn't pull at all and then I'll hit a slight bump and it starts to pull. I have also noticed that my front left tire is starting to wear on the edge after only about 1000 miles on the tire. The front end seems to be all tight, I can't imagine what else could be causing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

With a tire wearing in 1000 miles the front end isn't in alignment. Find another front end shop, preferably one that only does wheel alignments. They should check the struts, lower ball joints and tie rod ends for damage or wear.

Just a remote possibility, check the CV joints, wheel bearings, and brakes.
