Most auto wreckers will have an exchange guide that lists which models share the same rear.
You do know that a posi unit can be added to your existing diff. The diff is pulled apart and rebuilt with a posi unit. Labor and parts can run $800 to $1000 (with the posi unit running around $500 for an Eaton).

The wrecker may also have a posi unit. 'Round here they charge $40.00 for the posi, or $50.00 to $75.00 for the whole diff, but you have to remove any of that stuff yourself at those prices, but truck posi's usually don't make into the yard for us to remove, they're usually removed and sold off the shelf by the wrecker. Even still, you would be advised to take the parts to a diff shop for inspection before installation. You can install it yourself if you work on vehicles. I did a Cadillac diff a few years ago; it took about a day, but that included installing all new brakes and brake lines, and having to deal with removing bolts from upper and lower control arm bushings.
