Pro Bowl

I had no plans of watching the Pro Bowl game but once the second half got under way it captivated me. I don't know about anyone else. I hate to say this but that game seemed better to watch than the Superbowl. As usual AFC takes the win by one field goal. 31-28. NFC's rally looked good the last quarter.
I couldn't believe they had Romo holding the ball on some field goals.

They played the Pro Bowl already? Wow I heard not a damn thing about it, lol.

Still pisses me off that the Cowboys are probably ONLY team in the NFL with their starting quarterback being a place holder.

Actually, you may have been proud of Romo although he was booed by the spectators early on. He was the 4th quarter NFC quarterback and helped lead the comeback from behind which tied the score at 28/28. Maybe it is a good sign for next year. :dunno:
Plus I see the Cowboys now have a new head coach.

Oh I like Romo, the Boys would've sucked a million times worse if he hadn't blown up the way he did, even if he did deflate towards the home stretch. I'm not blaming him for losing the game, THAT was a team effort. I just never understood why someone else isn't the placeholder. Whether he's good at it or not, no way in hell I'd want my starting QB to do it. I mean shit, if the Cowboys picked me up off the street I'd do it for free, lol. The Eagles activated a guy just for that because Jason Feagles felt more comfortable with him, and then he goes on to kick a game winning field goal in the playoffs.

I do not disagree and see where you are coming from on the issue. Maybe he likes doing it. :dunno:
He should concentrate strictly on Quarterbacking. Cowboys fans are depending on it for the next season.

Yea, I mean, if he's the most capable on the team at doing it, then that'd make sense, but common, thats why back up quarterbacks have been doing it for years, lol. I hope our new coach does better than what I expect he's gonna do.
About the Pro Bowl though, I saw highlights of it last night. Boy people are going to be pissed off about Drew Brees getting hurt. I once heard someone mention this, I think Mike Wilbon said something like they should implement some kind of award to the winning conference of the game. Much like how in baseball, the winner of the All-Star game gets home field advantage in the World Series. Ofcourse in the NFL, the stadiums change every year, so I'm not sure how they'd make up some kind of reward.

Still not better than the Reggie Bush knock out. I still run around the room screaming everytime I see it.
