ecm?? just stoped workin

i have a 92 lumina 3.1 4 door and it just stop running at the drive thru ... i thought maybe fule line frozen but i warm the garage up i have fule pressure but no start .. soo i desided to put a jumper on the pmc to check any codes and the service engine soon light isnt turnning on it wont even tell me the default code any more .... i have had icm problems with it b4 and replaced 2 in the last year just replaced wires, plugs, knock sensor, map sensor, airfilter, fule filter, added some heat, and still it seems to brake down ... soo any ideas a 17 year old and doo to fix it enough to sell this?

Check ECM fuse....

You cold also try the ECM tap test with a screw driver. Firmly tap it, and then try to start it. There was a serial number richtaz knows that are prone to have problems in the 1st gen luminas. He'll be by soon to let ya know im sure.

It probably has the '727 ECM.

Check for constant battery power at pins A11 and C16, ignition power at pin A6, and good grounds at pins A12, B5, B6, B9, and D1.

You should also disconnect power and make sure the MEMCAL is fully seated, and it wouldn't hurt to uplug and re-seat all ECM harness connectors to make sure they are clean.

where is the ecm?? under dash?

The ecm is under the hood, behind the passenger side headlamp, forward of the rf wheel arch. The known bad OEM one is service # 1227727 as Blue Bowtie stated.

well i tryed everythign u guys told me and i bought the new ecu .. nothin still .. i have no idea so u think i could get 800 for a 92 w/ 170k ?

Does the "Check Engine" light even turn on when the ignition is on?
