What a great show, as always! First show of the year and it usually bring out some great models and this year was no exception. It was kind of crowded both on the floor and on the tables. Juha Airio won eight awards including four first places and Best in Show.

As you can tell, it's a big ass car. All those moldings on the body are beautifully done in a dark chrome.

Maybe not much to add but anyway.

Jon pretty much summed up the show already, very good, lots of both people and models.
About 70 contributors with 322 models, a new record for the show I believe.

Was a bit surprised to get a first prize in the modified class with my, by now dated GTX.

I made a google search about that contest, and I found some photos from the 2005 edition.

The Ford Cortnia is build by the one and only, Juha Airio. He started with the resin Scalekraft Lotus Cortina kit.

The Volvo PV is an old resin kit. It was made by a swedish modeler in a very limited run. The moulds don't exist any more, there has been some talk about using one of the old bodys to make a new mould and make some more. I realy hope some one will do that.
