:banghead: i feel like a a fuckin retard! i ask my neighbor who owns a performance shop were the trans dipstick on my car is but my car is stick. but anyway how do i check the trans fluid?

Pull out the filler bolt and put your finger in the hole and see if its just to the bottom of that hole or not.

Yeah there is no dipstick. You just have to take the fill bolt out and see if it is filled up to the top. If you dont know when the last time it was replaced you may as well just drain it and fill it though.

Hasn't been answered yet, but just incase you don't know, its on the tranny housing and if you remove your driver's side wheel its in plain site. Refilling it should be "fun".
Btw, I have another related question, where the hell can I find some BG Syncromesh? I'm gonna look around online, but it'd be convenient if I could run to a store and get it.

Yea, I'm just gonna pick up some Pennzoil for it tomorrow. I changed out with Mobil 1 syncromesh a couple of months back and either my gearbox is gettin really bad or its gotten worse after changing fluids.

I know they'll have the Pennzoil, I've never seen the BG though.
