Well guys take a look at my sig and you'll see some of my mods. My question to you is what should i get next. I cant really decide between Dsmlink & injectors (already have eprom ecu) or a clutch kit & flywheel. I only have funds for one or the other. My goals are to have eventually no more than 400whp on a 50 trim or equivalent. I am on the stock clutch but it was replaced right before I got the car approx. 3000 miles ago and have no problems with it. Any suggestions?

Why replace something that isn't broke? Get link and injectors, and when your clutch finally goes out, then upgrade it, there's no sense in wasting money on a new part when the one you have works just fine.

You make a good point. Just for my knowledge, how much hp usually can a stock cluch handle before slipping occurs? I did a search and came up with nothing.
And why is my status a newbie again? lol. I log on atleast once a day.

I'm gonna go with the guess that you only have 93 posts so they still consider you a noob...
As for the clutch... If you drive normal and easy the stock clutch will handle a good bit of power. Exact numbers can't be said though as they depend on the exact condition of the clutch and the driver. But if you drive it easy and normal it'll work just fine. Its when ya start driving it hard and beating on it that the stock clutch will start slipping on ya.

The only reason I say you might want to do your clutch now is because you will be pushing quite a bit of power if you get injectors and link. That stock clutch doesnt take much to fry up. In my opinioin the clutch might be the better thing to replace now because that is a mod that I would like to do on my own terms rather than when it breaks because you dont know exactly when that is going to happen. Unless you have a daily driver then I would say clutch because its no fun to not have a car.

I'm still saying wait on the clutch, it's a mod that you don't want to do until you really need to.

yea its not like you have to drop the tranny to add link and injectors they are two completely separate jobs and there's absolutely no gain on doing them separately... However, if you were getting a shep racing trans or something then definitely switch that clutch while your at it.
