ABS light- 95 Olds Cutlass

I just bought a 95 Olds Cutlass,and being a woman, I will freely admit I don't know anything about cars, and most of the guys I know are old school who only know stuff about cars from back in the day. On the left side of the control panel, there is a little round light lighting up that says ABS. Now, I know that doesn't mean abs as in working out. What does it mean?

Welcome to AF. It means the anti -lock brake system is inop, nice thing to have working on slippery roads, have it checked out.

Before you spend any money, check your brake oil level, sometimes when it is low abs will be on. Good luck

Welcome to AF, FYI low brake fluid will cause the brake warning lite to come on, not the abs unless it was empty.
