My problem at hand is that the car dies at low RPMs. It has been into the dealership now three times and they have no clue what is going on; today they installed a snap-shot box so that when it does die it will record. I have read that someone had the same problem but it has to do with gas but I always have a full tank or near full so I don't think that could be it.
Now I have a new noise and it's at high RPMs. It sounds like there is a crickett in my engine. When driving I can hear it...it is so loud a metal on metal sound. Can't be good. Any help would be great seeing how the dealership is trying but has not heard of this situation. :banghead:

In regards to the low idle speed & stalling concern. I've seen two things fix that. A thorough throttle body cleaning, or a reflash of the PCM with the latest/greatest software. The noise could be the hood bump stops, or something flapping in the wind on the front end.
