Nihilism

Whenever I'm sad and depressed I always tend to learn towards nihilistic beliefs, but to be honest, having fun and living life, even being sad and lonely is better than not being here at all.

My stance on it is that yeah, nothing we do is really going to matter in the end, but why not just live life to the fullest anyway?

no doubt, no matter how depressed you are, tomarrow could always be better. times could get hard, but if you live for one more day of happiness, its worth it...

But then how do you know? Since you naturally never experienced "not being here at all", except sleeping.

There it comes down to the point were Nihilism speaks against itself. The most rationalistic action would be to not care at all, since it awakens more questions. I can't take stand on that point for Nihilism.

It could be worse, then it doesn't matter. It could be better, then it deosn't matter either since you're dead and won't feel bad about it. You're only missing something out if you know you are.

Worth it? A kliché. Then in what unit do you value life and happiness? And if you do have a universal value for life and happiness, how do you know it's worth it if you've never died?

Then, shouldn't anyone be allowed death if their belief says it's the better thing to do?

Then, shouldn't anyone be allowed death if their belief says it's the better thing to do?I guess I dont see why not, I guess if some body wanted to kill them selves, then why shoudn't they, but I could see that only if some one is allready on their death bed or is nihilistic, but I dont know.
