You would think so...but anythign is possible. Some bouncers/bar owners just have a power trip and are extremely instigative just to get you to cross the line. I've been kicked out of a bar, completely sober, simply because I had an out of state ID, and the bouncer said it was fake rather than looking at the book.
There was a cop across the street, I told the bouncer to take my ID and call the cop over if he thought it was fake. He wouldn't check the book, wouldn't look at my 2nd forms, and when I tried to call the cop over, the bouncer pushed me when I had my back to him, and I went right out the door. Best part was my 2 underage friends whom I came with got in with their fakes...and I'm stuck outside.
