i have a 1990 ford probe and i want to put a cd player in it and everyone says taht i have to make a "kit" for it do they make a dash install kit or do i have to make one to make my stereo fit

A lot of the stuff they sell is available locally. You will probably want a harness adapter kit, available any place that sells car stereos, and maybe a dash adapter plate/cover, also sold anywhere car stereos are sold. The price for the above is usually less than $20-.

90 probe shouldn't need a dash kit. But the harness is highly recomended!
