A/C woes

A couple of problems here. I had a strong smell of anti-freeze this past Spring sent my car to the shop. Found a leak on the manifold and after checking both were leaking. Car has ran like crap ever since and even sending the car back to the shop was no help. "No problem found" seems to be the answer I get. Now, 5 months later, when I now accellerate, my A/C stops until I let off the gas. HELP PLEASE!!!

it might just be a belt slipping when the engine revs. check the tension. does the compressor stop or the fan? if its the fan it probally justa loose wire. if so bypass the switch and run a wire right to the battery and seee if it works. or you could be nuts:bloated:

looks like i'm a little late on this one but i just ran across this site and though i'd try to help if i could. it sounds like the throttle position sensor (TPS) to me. try replacing it. the compressor shuts off at wide open throttle, and if your TPS thinks it's at wide open throttle it will shut down the a/c... hope this helps
