Too Serious??

Ok everyone...I need a different perspective on this. Perhaps the relationship I have with my girlfriend is getting a bit serious and I think that scares her. We have been dating since the beginning of September...had a "bump" in the road if you will.....now, everything is great. She tells me she doesn't wanna make it seem as if we are "attached at the hip." I mean thats fine, I am not a manipulative person at all..I think everyone is a little bit though, part of human nature. But that aside, we don't go out every single night, she doesnt stay over every night...like she used to..lol...and I let her go out with her friends and have time to do her stuff, because I need time to myslef also. We have made an agreement to make attempts to see each other through the week, she lives on campus and I live seriously like 8 minutes away off campus. we do in fact spend the whole weekend together and everything is fantastic. In my eyes, I am doing the right thing for us. Guess I should just let it unfold and see what happens. Any thoughts?

You didn't give enough details, and you didn't really ask any questions.
So here's my catch-all advice:
a. Stop being boring.
b. If things go south, break up with her first.

Umm...what's the question.
I think you should have a chilli eating competition with her. Sure to spice things up.

tell her you only want to hang out on weekends, then find another girl that likes to hang out during the week..... haha jk, i dont really see the problem here either, or the question.

That is actually what I would shoot for to tell you the truth. She is drifting off but thats no reason to cut off the love making yet. Granted if your school is like where I live she has been hit on by some strange folks and based on the whole wanting to not be with you every night thing she has probably slept around a little bit (I know I would if i were a chick and I was looking for space in a relationship). Anyway I would say keep her around for what you need but dont bank on this being a serious relationship or one to last long time.

WHAT?!!?! Are you joking? No. Not at all. Just because she wants some space doesn't mean she's out sleeping with other people. Guys are stupid. I'm so completely amazed that you'd even think that. Maybe it means that her boyfriend annoys the hell out of her and she doesn't want to spend every waking moment with him!
And just because women aren't exactly known for their lack of wanting to be serious in a relationship, seriousness does scare us, too. We don't always want to plan the future with the person we're dating...

i'm leaning towards Jay's diagnosis...
find new things to do when she comes round (no, i don't mean different positions) get a stupid girly movie and ice cream, stuff like that.

Exactly. I dont know what some of you guys are thinking, but not being glued to each other like siamese twins does not mean she is sleeping around. Personally, i do not want to be with a gf every waking second, I want to be able to hang out with my friends, be by myself, who knows. If you are constantly with her you will probably start getting annoyed at little things she does or vice versa, and you will also start to take her for granted.
Some of that stuff above me sounds like paranoia from bad relationships in the past

are you asking if your relationship at the moment is too serious? from what you've told us?? how the hell do we know? That's something to ask yourself, her, and those around you.
