Yeah, yeah ( yawns). It will be interesting to see just how many viewers continue to watch it once it returns. Their actions, (ABC) has pissed off a lot of viewers in the last season and a half. Add to that a hard to follow story line that makes you have to keep up with everything going on and then constantly goes to back stories, then they followup with repeats. At least this time they are promising 16 new episodes in a row. When they first premiered they had the 8 pm slot, and in my opinion should have stayed there. Now the main reason they are moving it to 10 pm is so there is no conflict with American Idol, something that may have never happened if they stuck to their original format. Even the show that was supposed to "fill in" for Lost while it went on hiatus flopped after only a few episodes, even after heavy and expensive promotion by the network. I, myself became somewhat confused by the first six episodes this season, partly because I became bored at the direction the show took this year and fell asleep during it's airing. I told myself I'd watch those episodes again online before the new ones begin tonight, but that hasn't happened. An article in our local paper yesterday made me realize that I'm not the only one that feels this way about Lost, and there is a lot of complaints from viewers about the first few episodes focused too much on the "Others" and Jack/Kate /Sawyer storyline. The producers were quoted in the article saying that the focus will now shift back to the other "main" passengers and their rescue attempts and life on the island post crash for the rest of the season. It will be interesting though to see how many people stay with Lost for the rest of this season.

Yup talks like that have been going on since the ending of last season. They said its becoming to clutish you can compare it to the x-file they said..Thats not what they wanted but thats the way the show spun out to be. Thats why they "said" this season there will be more character development, less "what the hell does that mean" and more romance. I for one LOVED x-files so the way the show was heading was ok with me. They also said it will have 2 more season then it will end. Not cancelled just come to an end with everything being explained.

Have you ever watch 24...That show is crap now they should have stopped after season 3..Season 4 pushed it now 5 is just horrible. I failed to direct my attention to it this year and focused more on Heroes, which is the same itme slot as 24. The second main show I enjoy.

No, I never saw 24. Seems it was on at a time whn I couldn't view it and it's on FOX, and I can't watch it through my local channel because of poor reception, and I always forget that I can see it on my Directv. Besides, I already see enough shows to keep track of without adding one more . I've got "Jericho" starting back up next week. That's another show that the network likes to "screw" around with like ABC does to Lost. I'll have to see how many viewrs return to watching that show after it's hiatus. Now that I'm typing this, I realize that Jericho will probably be on at the same time Lost will be on. Looks like I'll have to program another slot into my VCR. (Yeah that's right I said a VCR. I haven't made the jump to TiVO or a DVR just yet. Still satisfied with my 20th Century technology:lol:)

I thought season 2 of Lost was amazing, some of the best TV I've ever seen. This season is far less exciting, it almost feels like the Lost characters are in a different show.

Not to hijack the thread, but 24 is fucking amazing TV, I suggest anyone who has not seen it check out some of the DVDs. Seasons 1-3 are remarkable, season 4 was decent but not too special, season 5 was pretty weak, but the new season 6 is off to a great start.

i've seen like 3 episodes. I dunno, i don't like TV dramas. Lost, Heroes, Prison Break... I could care less about either.

Adult Swim and Comdedy Central is where its at!
(Although, Eureka on SciFi is friggen sweet!)

I agree season 1-3 of 24 was amazing. I watched 4 but then I lost interest. To much of the same thing over and over again. I was a huge fan but no longer. We'll see what lost has to offer the season, it can loose me as well.

I agree Adult Swim rocks and has been for years. That kind of comedy will never get dull no matter my age I am sure.

The thing I like about Lost and Heroes it that it follows the lives of multiple characters. you do not know where the story will start and finish each week. I have been enjoying this as opposed to just one character with the same troubles each week.

Just as I had expected, Lost is losing viewers and dropping in the ratings:
