Anybody want to share their Winamp playlists with me? I'm always looking for new songs and I can't think of any new ones to download.

You can use this Winamp plugin (Winamp 2)...
http://www.wincue.org/download.html
...to export your playlist into .txt format, which can be uploaded with the "attach file" option when making a new post. Thanks to those that share, if you don't want to or don't know how, don't worry about it, and feel free to download my playlist. Thanks :D

I'll help you out, man!

A few really good ones:
Bush - Glycerine
Anything enya
Anything Linkin Park
Pachabel - Canon for 3 Violins & Cello
Riddlin' Kids - I Feel Fine
Stabbing Westward - Save Yourself
Trust Company - Downfall

P.S. DDR stands for Dance Dance Revolution. Great place for high energy songs. Same with any Initial D song. :)

I already have Glycerine, it's a good one. I'm not an Enya fan, but every Linkin Park song is great. The rest I'll look into :D

Heep, d/ling. :) We share a lot of the same music choices.

As for the number of songs, I have another 40 cd's of music that I can pop in when I'm in a particular mood.

Also try:
DJ Sammy & Yanou Featuring Do - Heaven

Great song. I have 6 mixes of it.
If you're looking for classics, try J.S. Bach. Good stuff there.

A few of my favorite CD's:
Gundam Wing Soundtrack
Counting Crows
Michelle Branch - Spirit Room
Weezer
Hoobastank

Ummm... I think this wincue thing messed up my winamp. I can't play music anymore. I wont hear any sound anymore and it will like start the song at 37 seconds and then skip to a minute something. I don't hear any music either. So I uninstalled wincue but it is still doing it

lol

Try going into preferences and plugins (General Purpose, I think), and unload the wincue plugin.

Twist, I'm always listening to Initial D stuff in the car, it gets me so pumped :D:D I've got the 72 minute long Initial D non-stop megamix, it's all one track of continuous ID music from the race scenes, I love it :)

As for DJ Sammy's Heaven, that's one of my favorite songs, and I actually own a purchased copy of the single with all 6 mixes :D

I've currently got about 145 CD's (purchased CD's, not burned) full of different music than my mp3's.

Yeah I did that and it still wasn't playing. So I restarted my comp thinking that may be it, but it wasn't. I don't know what it was so I just redownloaded winamp and it works fine now :)

Well, I'll listen to anything, but I only keep the songs I really like on the computer, the rest get burned to cd's. HIM is a Swedish or Finnish band, I tihnk Finnish, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Either way, I really like their stuff. It's perfect to wake up to, becase it's not too fast, but its decently upbeat.

That is most certainly a good song. Smashing Pumpkin's are simply smashing, baby! :D

I've had E-Type - Life on repeat for about 3 hours now. I can't get enough of it. I think my roommate is getting annoyed.

On a side note, E-Type is coming to a club not too far from here this month, his first time performing in North America....I'm considering going, I love the guy's music

Smashing Pumpkins are awesome! A guy I know went to their last concert. :envy:

So-So Random Simpson's Moment:

Billy Corgan: "It's nice to meet you. Billy Corgan - Smashing Pumpkins."
Homer: "Homer Simpson - smiling politely"

hehe. Sorry, couldn't help put post that. That was a great episode!

"And remember don't trust anybody over 30!" - Homer
"We have a little rule back home. If it's brown, drink it down. If it's black, send it back." - Homer

hehe. :)

OH! Great CD!!!
Go and BUY this CD it's so good.

The Jurassic Park Soundtrack. This CD is awesome. John Williams at his best. :flash:

Homer: Thanks to your gloomy music, my kids have finally stopped dreaming of a future I can't possibly provide
Billy: Well, we try to make a difference.

Billy: You know, Homer, I envy you. All we have is our legions of fans, our millions of dollars, and our youth....(pause)...WOOHOOO!
James: Let's all go out and buy fur coats!!
Jimmy: I want a walk-in humidor!!

Gosh I love that episode. I have over 30 Smashing Pumkins CDs, all their albums, nearly all their singles, a number of bootlegs, their DVD, a Vampire Tour Beanie, Zero shirt, other SP shirt, etc. etc. etc. Not as a collector but because I love to listen to/watch/wear it.
Did you know they're the contributors of the largest single donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation - over $600,000, a single-night's take at a Chicago concert.

I don't have many mp3s on this machine, since it don't have a CD drive and I can't connect to any filesharing services. :(

So, my entire playlist is Weezer B-sides and unfinished tracks that they had available on Weezer.com.

I also use Winamp for internet radio.

BTW, nice skin, ci5ic. ;)

If the songs were later released as a special-edition bonus disc with the Greatest Hits disc, then yes. I believe the songs were Blissed and Gone, Saturnine, Waiting, My Mistake, Rock On, etc. If I'm wrong please hook me up.

I forgot this earlier, but for you piano-players, I arranged Today for piano a few years back. It isn't perfect but you can improvise. Download it here: http://blamonetwork.com/sp/moonsongs/scores/arr/today.htm
There are .gifs, or a .pdf as sheet music, and a midi so you can hear it before you play it.

Actually there were a few of the Machina II tracks on the bonus disk. However, Machina II was actually pressed as 25 vinyl albums (very exclusive) but the band were really pissed when the record company wouldn't let them release it on CD (they were concerned it would affect Machina I sales!). So Billy and co released it on the internet.

There are actually 4 sets of MP3s... which are effectively 3 EPs and a full album. Here are the lists of the tracks there are 25 in all and they add up to 207 Mbytes of MP3s.

Here is the track list.

CR 01:
1. Slow Dawn
2. Vanity
3. Satur9
4. Glass (alternate version)

CR 02:
1. Soul Power
2. Cash Car Star (version I)
3. Lucky 13
4. Speed Kills (but beauty lives forever)

CR 03:
1. If There Is a God (piano and voice)
2. Try, Try, Try (Version I)
3. Heavy Metal Machine (version I alternate mix)

CR 04:
1. Glass
2. Cash Car Star
3. Dross
4. Real Love
5. Go
6. Let Me Give the World to You
7. Innosence
8. Home
9. Blue Skies (version electrique)
10. White Spyder
11. In My Body
12. If There Is a God
13. Le Deux Machina
14. Atom Bomb

If you have the bandwidth to download this amount of files, here's the link:

Link to Machina II Resources (http://www.machina2.cjb.net/)
(You will need to click the 'get a copy' icon on the left to download the MP3's and then follow the instructions)

Otherwise, the site offers some folk you can ostensibly send your name, address and some CDR's to and they will burn them for you (Do so at your own risk - I'm sure they're nice people but remember 'Rules of the Internet'!)

If you don't have the bandwidth and don't want to send your name and address + 2 CDRs to someone on the internet then PM me and I'll see what I can do for you (I have a copy of the MP3s here in the office).

I know the MachinaII story, but back in the day (late 2000, I believe?) I didn't have the ability to download that much data, and by the time I did, I had aquired the Greatest Hits dual-disc and incorrectly assumed that it contained all the FAEOMM stuff. I've a T1 here at work so downloading shouldn't be a problem. Thanks so much for providing a link. (Lucky thing, I brought a blank CD-R to work with me today.)

Nice lists from some of you, mine is rather small, just 350 mp3's or so. But since I'm an anti Winamp user, i can't make a txt file from my playlist. I AM A SONIQUE USER AND I AM PROUD OF IT :D:D:D IMO Sonique works better and more easy, only you have to get to know it and it is not so easy if you have used Winamp.

But my playlist has around 50 to 60 songs from Nightwish, some metal with a bit of a classic touch in some songs. Got also multiple songs from Rank 1 and Rammstein. And my favorite: Whispering Gallery (dutch metal band, try to find some on the net, it is very rare.. tough I share 1 song of them in Kazaa : An eternity of mourning just a very nice song that lasts about 10 minutes.
