Zc or B16 for me?

Ok i am trying to decide on wich motor is for me, the car is going to be my toy it will Not be drivin daily I have a truck and bike for that. I will not be drag racing the car at the track maby play on the street once in a while but not much, i would like to keep A/C i live in South carolina so it does get real hot. i am able to do the sway myself. wich motor is more reliable and easy to upgrade at a later date. i will put the good clutch header and intake on whe the motor goes in no mater wich one i choose, the car will be for crusin towne and shows. I have found both motors localy and the zc is 600 with a trans and b16 is 1100 with trans ECU and axles. i know the zc is i direct bolt in my car is a 90 si, but the b16 will take a mount kit and shift likage is there anything else it will need. i know this is a mater of opinion but i am looking for some facts to help make my decision. thanks

personally, i'd go for the vtec motor. It's just an all around better motor. Sure it's a bit more expensive, but it's WAAY more tuneable for future purposes. The b16 will be able to get you more power in the long run. For your hatchback, i think all you will need are the mount kit and linkage as you said. you should check out www.hasport.com
they have direct bolt in kits for ya........oh yea, and based on teh price of the b16, i'm guessing it's a 1st gen rite? so the cable tranny should fit fine.........:D ....good luck w/ your build up

yeah go with the b16, its harder to find parts for the zc. b16 is way more funner, is that even a word. i drive my friends b16 civic around, i get off everytime i race it.
