Distributor's fixed!

Finally finished fixing my distributor... car runs great now! :)
As long as it keeps on going, I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and save for a B16A... figure I could have the money for it by next spring or early summer! So that'll be cool...
This lil 1.5 motor will do for now though.

damn I'm going through the same thing with my D15... I have no idea if I'm going to fix it or mess it up more.... any tips?

My suggestion would be to get a used distributor or already rebuilt one to put on...
Will cost you about $150, but is probably worth it for all the trouble that rebuilding it yourself is (cause IT'S A BITCH!).... I wouldn't advice anyone not totally mechanically minded to try and do it themselves.
But just call around to your local junk/salvage yards and they should be able to find one for you... and if they don't have one on their car lot, they can over night one directly to your house.
They will need a number off the top of your current distributor so make sure and right it down... it will start with TD and then there will be a dash and some numbers.

Found yet another problem though.... have an exhaust leak, just behind the catalicitic converter... damn rust!
