my ride has no reverse whatsoever but it will go foward, does this indicate a bad trans? trans linkage points are all in tact. or can this be caused due to low trans fluid, cant check car as of right now, car 40 miles away from me. i am getting charged 650 to rebuild the trans. is this a good pice or is it too much.

if the 650$ includes the install again, its worth it.
doesnt the 3-4 clutch pack faliure cause a loss of reverse, 2, and 4th?

No, loss of reverse, 2nd and 4th is a classic symptom of reaction sun shell failure on the TH700R4/4L60.
