Lsd?

i am purchasing a new motor and it say optional lsd what does lsd do and is it worth 300 dollars to add to the deal?

limited slip differential. It helps get power to both wheels, instead of most of the power going to 1 wheel (the passenger side, since it's closest to the transmission). It helps when accelerating from a stop, taking a corner, and driving on snow/ice/water (where the passenger side could just slip and you don't move very fast). It's definently worth it, unless you're willing to spend some $ and get a better aftermarket one.

I would do it....i would love to have an LSD tranny, but if i'm going to do it, i'm not going w/ a standard Honda LSD anymore...Quaife all the way (but thats going to be a little while)

new motor, optional lsd? I never heard motor comes with lsd

ya tons on motors come with LSD's but the best is def the Quaife aftermarket. i also like the Type r lsd. i had a type r then i drove a car with a Quaife and it was alot better.
