for a 325, exactly how much torque can be gained from either long tubes or shortys?

I looked into this once.. not sure that the cost will justify the HP and torque.
you will only gain maybe 10 horses at the crank. not much after spending $500+ on headers and installation.

Your best bet is to get a Nelson's tune for $300. you will get the same HP and Tq increase and increase your MPG for $200 cheaper than some aftermarket tubes

I love my long tubes....great midrange/upper range power. Pacesetters are the cheapest/best long tube out there for these trucks. They are very affordable and offer great performance. I wouldn't waste too much money on shorties, due to the fact that they aren't that much different from the stock manifolds.

I'm glad I got mine done when he first got into tuning. I paid $350 back in the day, and I see now heavily modified trucks cost a ton to tune. He's still the best at what he does when it comes to mail order tunes. I finally went in with a guy on hptuners, so now I let Allen tune me for motor and I will have a seperate pcm so that we can tune it for nitrous.

What mods are needed for application of pacesetter long tube headers?
I plan on getting some O2 sensor simulators and removing the cats.
HELP!
$285 a good price from summit?

Removing the cats is illegal in most states. unless you live in Canada.
The fine is very heavy as well if they catch you which they most cerntainly will upon inspection or if you are pulled over for noise violation.

First question.....where do you live? Here in MS we have zero problems with the police on cat removal, plus it helps we don't have to have to pass emissions. $285 is a good price for the long tubes. I went with Thorleys back in the day, before the pacesetters came out. I will be swapping over to the coated pacesetters really soon.

Headers really bring out the sound of an exhaust system. Exhaust will not stink and completely worth the hassle imo.
