Idle Switch

My truck "used to have" an after market, single toggle switch on the dash that allowed you to keep the truck in high Idle in cold climates. I disconnected it 3 years ago because we moved from Alaska to Georgia. I'm going to move back north to Montana and need to hook it back up. I remember it was just 1 (one) wire but I don't remember where it was hooked to.
Any help out there will be appreciated.
Thanks tons,
Jim

The simplest way would be to go directly to the fast idle solenoid . Go to your auto parts store and get a piggy back spade connector. Pull the connector of the solenoid, slip the piggyback on the terminal and replace the harness connector. You can get your power from the fuse panel (preferably fused) to the toggle switch.
