I have a 2004 malibu , worked great and stuff, i have been using the outputs where i can plug anything to it, i have been using one outlet for my navigation. i recently bought a cigarrette lighter to go in one of the empty slots from walmart, now for some wierd reason both outlets dont work, i plugged everything possible , and nothing works through it., do you think i blew a fuse, and if so where do i cahnge it, or how do i do it manulnually..can anyone help

I'd say you blew a fuse by using the wrong type of lighter. Be sure you get one that's meant for use in GM vehicles. Or get one from the dealer to be sure. The fusebox should be under the dash somewhere, or at the side of the dash. Someone who knows will be along to give better details on that.

I have a 98 Malibu and the cig. lighter fuse is under the hood. Check your owners manual.

Chevy offered a Smoker's Package on the '04 Malibus (new style). Be sure to go through Chevy Accessories.

The smokers package is an ashtray that fits in a cupholder and a lighter. The salesguy threw that in when I bought mine. The ashtray is quite nice....as ashtrays go that is.
