Remote keyless entry programming..

I know it's been discussed already but I was curious as to weather or not I'd need the keyless entry door code in order to be able to program a remote? I own a 1995 Lincoln Continental. If someone could kindly point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

Yes, you do need the "permanent code" in order to do any programming.
The "permanent code" was placed on the right-side trunk support arm on a small white label. It was also included on a key card in the owners manual package.
The last place the code was placed for 1995 was inside the drivers door on the keyless control module.
Using that permanent code on the keypad will also open the doors/trunk.
Search the Continental and Town Car forums for Programming Instructions.
