Just went to start the car the other day and noticed that none of the guages (except the odometer) and the radio don't seem to be working. I did check a few of the 10 amp fuses and they seemed to be fine, is there maybe another fuse that I missed or is the problem bigger? I did have a remote car started installed 4 months ago, but have never had a problem with anything on it. Any ideas on what the issue may be?

As far as the radio--fuse block--right IP-- radio batt fuse 15 amp. Check the fuse, then with the key on, check the circuit going to the fuse. One terminal or the other where the fuse plugs in, should be hot. Is it?
If it isn't, that will lead you to the fuse block underhood. RH BEC batt fuse 30 amp. The circuit to that fuse should be hot with the key on.

I had the same thing happen on my Alero (before I got rid of it!). Turns out that my problem was being caused by the ignition switch. The car would run, but the gauges and radio would not work. DO you have power windows??? Do they work when this happens? Is your check engine light on? Oh, and when the replaced the switch, all of those problems went away!
I hope this helps...

It turns out I pressed the CD eject button on the stereo when there was no CD in it and everything started to work again. :screwy:
I think I will be getting rid of this car in the summer, to many problems for just being a few years old.
