intake and ecu ques

k i got a dx with a dx intake, when i get my b18a swap can i still use my dx intake or will i have to go buy a si intake ?

also will my 92-93 pr4 work with my 90-91 b18a engine. because the motor is a 90-91 so its obd0, but the ecu i got is for a 92-93 obd1. so idk if my harness will hook up with the obd1 ecu. i am swapping to a si for the b18a swap. so my ecu harness will be for a si.

I dont' think your ecu will work with that engine. OBD1 has more sensors that it incorporates, so with out them you will be throwin codes.

What do you mean by swapping to a Si??? Si what?

oh well since my car is a dx, and the motor i am getting came from a crx si. i am gonna put the si wiring harness on my dx so i can hook up the b18a

As far as I know, the b18a is from an integra. The CRX si comes with a d16a. I dont think I have ever heard of a b18a coming stock in an integra. Someone let me know if I'm wrong. either way though, I think your intake should work just fine.

The intake will work fine.:) The ecu will work if you buy a conversion harness that converts the ecu plugs from obd0 to obd1.

CRXkid, whenever in doubt, always look to Honda Hybrid's spec's page (http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/specs.htm) for Civic/Integra engine codes and specs

k for those who dont understand. i am buying a b18a that came from a crx si. he swapped the b18a into his crx si. he wrecked the crx so hes selling me the motor and all the swap stuff i need. the b18a came from the 90-93 integra.

hehehehe......... Well..... SInce i have been a bad little boy and got some tickets, my dad is madd pissed and almost sold my car, even though i paid for it, well, he gave me 2 choices:

1) Sell the car (NO WAY IN HELL)
2) Grounded for 2 months!

So i picked Choice Number 2!!!!! So i have A SHIT LOAD of FREE TIME! So i spend it in front of "Dude" I call it DUDE because "I GOT A DELL" :) So i hope this makes everyone understand my POSTITUTION (Thanks to ci5ic) and that everyone bear with me :) Oh, and i am also trying to attack Melt's Post Count, except i am trying to contain myself to 1 board, and not 100 :)

man you should have no probs with the intake:p but you are gonna have fun converting the ecu. you are right your ecu will not work. you are either gonna have to make a custom wiring harness or you are gonna have to go and get the integera wireing harnes from a store. i know u can get one from honda and some mobile tels will get one for you.:eek: but you handleng will suffer a little bit with the swap. and may i suggesst a camber kit to. because the enging is much heavier than that suspension is ment to take. hope all goes well. let me know how that all works out for you thogh
