A few GA GT questions...

I am thinking about buying a GA. I found an ad selling a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT with 111,000 miles for $4,000. I most worried about the miles on it. I have not gone to look at the car yet though.
A little background info. I am soon to be 16, so this will be a first car. It is not too expensive and I already have over half of the price saved up. I hope to scrounge a couple hundred out of my parents! :grinno:
This will be a daily driver. Will the miles affect me alot? Could anyone predict a possible problem in the near future?
Again with the miles...The miles are tacked on to what? The engine as a whole...or just the motor? How much would a used motor be with less miles? Am I in to deep right now? :grinyes:
Insurance? I am guessing it will break the bank!
And...when you put a body kit or anything that lessens ground clearance on your car...what do you do about speed bumps? Always wondered about that!
Thank you for any help you can give me! It is highly appreciated!

I would get the warnty repair history and a car fax on it.
If it has been well maintained 111k miles isnt alot.
Look for anything that leaks, oil, coolant, etc etc.
Insurance will be low on a GA, but your age does affect what you pay.
On the body kits...
stay away from them or jump them :dunno:
Watch out for small furry animals with either GA.
Btw- my SE in the signature below, it just turned over 175K miles
