I think I FRIED my amp....

Ok here how it goes...

Last night when I turned on my car i heard this dull pop and "sphh" and then my radio turned on....It started to have heay loads of static and i thought I had it on a bad station, so I switch it to the CD changer. The static was still there. So I checked EVERY fuse that could be a problem and have recently rewired my system connected to the head unit and everything sound fine...my Mini Disk works along with the CD changer.

Upon taking out my head unit to unwire/rewire it I noticed that the ground to the amp that comes out of the head unit had came unconnected (the wires were crimped together throught some addaptors) So what I'm wondering is if my asumptions are correct....

Sounds like maybe just a bad ground problem. If I fuse is bad, it'll cut ALL power to whatever it's for. Did you try it all out after you re-connected the ground wire, and if so, what were the results?

yeah i plugged it back up and it restarted the system then the static kicked back in.....
