Ive been looking at other postings and the problem that I have seems similar to some of the others but i thought i would post this just to make sure.
I have a 2000 Pontiac grand am. When I am driving there is a constant clicking like the turn signal noise but the turn signals are not being used. It just clicks randomly for long and short periods of time. Sometimes using the signals triggers it to happen. I thought that it was an indication that one of my lights was out but after checking them all everyone of them was working.
Other posts have mentioned the hazzard switch and I was wondering if that what was wrong with my car and if so how much I was looking at to have it replaced.
Thanks for any kind of help

Its either the relay/hazard switch, or your multifunction switch(MFS).
If you do a search in the grand am forum , or here, you should find several on this same topic. Seems to be more common 2001's. But not limited to those, even other GM automobiles have simular problems.
And welcome to AF.

I offer my appology in advance to anybody upset that I'm bumping a month-old thread ttt.
I had this same problem with the MFS in my '01 Malibu LS.
Here is a link to a 'tech' thread I put up on the Malibu forum a while back for cleaning your MFS. Feel free to ask questions as this post isn't written very well.
