Hello,
I love this site! Anyways, I was wondering what anyone thought about my problem? I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand AM 3100 V6 leaking antifreeze on the passenger side of the engine under the powersteering/altenator. The heator core was replace not too long before this happend too.
What happend? I was driving down the road heard a ping, ping and then the car started getting hot. I stopped and looked thought it might be the water pump and replaced it already.
What might this be?
Thanks, For all the help anyone wishes to add.
RH

if its leaking under those components I'd say your lower intake may be leaking. They tend to leak on either end of the block.

Ok,
That's kinda what I have been thinking. Is that an expensive job?
Thanks, Roger

Thats a bit speculative killdog66, as depending on where they live and "who" does the work.
A dealer could charge between $800-1200, and independant shop can usually do them cheaper, anywhere from $600-1000. Take your pick :D
