I just bought a 1990 Bronco and I can't seem to get the Gauge lights to work, I checked the fuse which is okay and the dome light comes on just not the gauge lights..... would it be possible to hard wire them to a switch or something?

Could be the rheostat (dash light dimmer) on the headlight switch.

Is there anyway to check that? Would it still turn the dome light on and off if it was broken?

Thanks

Without pulling the headlight switch,I can't think of any easy check/test.As far as the dome light is concerned,it is not controlled by the rheostat part of the headlight switch.
