where to get????

hey guys, on my 96 lt1 trans am my low oil level sensor has been leaking oil. not very much but it does leak which bothers me.... where can i get a new one? the only place i can think of is the dealership.

Ask your local parts stores if they have them...the call is free and takes just a few minutes to get an answer.

most auto parts chains carry them. I have one here somewhere as well. What exactly is leaking though?. There really isn't much in it that can leak. You might want to consider trying to take it out and retightening it around your next oil change as long as its working.

ok thanks guys.... its leaking right where it plugs into the tank, inside that big nut thing.
