I have a 99 hb civic, how do i change the third brake lite one the hatch? cannot see any access or anything of the sort.

Bump! anyone ever had to change your high mount stop light?

twist the bottom of that latch C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y towards you to get it out. I busted mine the first time I tried because the two upper latches held it in pretty good, and I ended up breakin one after yanking on it.

take your time, it you have to force it, chances are it isn't supposed to go that way.
