Just curious as to what kind of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times you can expect from a stock 07 GT 4.6L, also any ideas on top speed?
Thanks!
Thanks!

^those must be times from R&T. the slowest times ive ever seen for that car are in that magazine. most have 0-60 about 5.0, ive seen 4.9... and the 1/4 in a lot of references is about 13.5

They run mid to high 13's and do 0-60 in around the mid 5's.

4v FTW! It's a drivers race.
the auto has 3.31 the manual has a 3.55 For GT's, and all V6's came with 3.31's.

true on both counts, but there is almost a 1/2 sec difference in the 05+ vs Mach.

true on both counts, but there is almost a 1/2 sec difference in the 05+ vs Mach. The Mach has the edge but it's definatly not .5, maybe .2 at the most.

most? hardly. many 05+ guys are running about 13.5-7 range, and there are many stock Mach1's doing 13.1-3 range thats .2 t least, and .6 at most. I dont go by what some pro driver does once for a mag. I go by what I see on average at the track.

A 13.1-13.3 is not an average Mach time, with perfect track and weather conditions and John Force powershifting it will only run a 12.9, I'm not saying it's once in a blue moon someone gets a 13.1-13.3 but it's not average, a 5-speed Mach will average around a 13.4-13.6, and 3V GT's are only a step behind.

look around Mach1 sites, people on average get 13.3 with only a couple runs, and ther are a few getting 13.1-2. Then look on a GT site, the average driver is a high 13. With a mid 13 on slicks.
Ive been looking over these 2 cars(and the 01 cobra ) for 2 months now and settled on the Mach1 for a reason...Its faster, by a decent amount.

The have the same amount of power within 5 hp, both have 3.55's, both have good suspension, and S-197 GT's only weight 100 lbs more. Please don't start with the "well it's 4V powa, so the power curve is going to be some much better!!1!" because that really isen't the case, it might be a little better but not half a second better.

i love the mach, but its a drivers race. keep in mind a driver can make a huge difference too.

the Mach1 makes TQ about 500rpm lower, and is under rated(closer to 335-340tq) and has a better top end (also under rated closer to 325-30hp). The weight difference is also closer to 150lbs.
I have raced my uncle quite a few times switching cars..the mach1 has won all 8 runs.
and fro teh record teh 4v does makes it have a better top end..its called breathing :)

Stock manual Mach 1 vs. stock manual GT, identical drivers.....Mach wins
Mach's are underrated at 305...closer to 320.
4v > 3v

Finally we can smack on a Ls1 that is outdated by how many years? We need larger displacement engines.
