I love my Liberty Limited.. the renagade is not cost effective iput tubular side bar/steps/ mud flaps all around and evven a 2 light aftermarket bar across the top with small HID lights its mean looking.. and did the exhaust with no cats no resonatr and a magnaflow with a straight out dual tip.. and plus sized the tires to 20 mm in width
on the original limited rims.. it loks kic ass ad has the sub under the passenger seat.. sorry i think my renegade look its beetter than the off the assebly line look

also you guy shoul look into a t intake with 2 cones and bypass thos 2 air silencer i picked 15hp and a mean growl the exhaust gae me an easy 10.. and this sucker haul from 0-70 and then i flaten out oh well can't beat aerodynamics

I'm curious about what kind of light bar you installed and how you dealt with wiring. I'm looking to do something similar and am also going to add a roof rack (safari rack) with a decent weight rating (too low on the Renegade).

I've got tube steps on my Liby as well... keeps the rocks away from the body work. Looking into a Tranny skid, better meat (Dunlop Mud Rovers maybe), and spacers to widen the track. Down the road I'll look into a winch on the front.

I'll have a better ideas in about three weeks. We just bought one today and are leaving to go on vacation in 4 days. So far it's a great car for my wife. Just a little to "cute" to have for myself. ;)

Well, unfornately I got to find out how well the new Renegade held up in a collision while I was on vacation. Some %@#! ran a red light while I was making a protected left turn at an intersection and clipped the left front corner.  It faired pretty well, and the damage was very minor however compared to the other vehicle which was a '88 Silverado.

Anyway, after a week in the body shop it's as good as new. The only thing that sucked is we had to finish the vacation in a POS Cavalier.

What a drag! Glad that you are alright though.

And in a strange way, glad to know your Liby is tough. That was one of the features that struck me about them when I test drove one off-raod before they went on sale a couple of years back ... that they were built solid and tough.

At any rate, stay clear of those Red-light runners, will you?

Our '03 is black. Recently put a brush bar on the front. Looks much better. Wife had a habit of hitting white tail deer on the way home from work. No damage from her encounters as of yet!
