Looked at the item and text says sale has ended. You can buy one from Advance or Auto Zone (not cheap but probably less than $200) I paid about $155 two years ago for mine ('96 Caravan) and it still works fine

There is a far amount of work involved in changing a fuel pump. I would try to find the best pump I could afford to avoid changing it again. This isn't it. If you have to get one from a junkyard, take it from the van with the least miles.

I agree, if I needed a fuel pump, it would not come from a salvage yard. I do not know the year of your machine, but if the pump is in the tank then a bit of effort is required. let me share my experience on a '96 Caravan, 3.3 liter. I put the car in a garage with concrete floor, then I jacked up the rear of the car and put the axle on jack stands, I then positioned a floor jack with a small sheet of plywood on the jack foot (to distribute weight) and under the tank so the foot of the jack was near center on the tank (I also burned the fuel level down as gasoline weighs about six pounds per gallon). I jacked the plywood up to put a little bit of pressure on the tank and then I released the tank strap hangers and started the tank down slowly. I dropped the tank just enough so I could reach on top of the tank and grab the electrical connection and the lock ring. My car had the fuel filter sitting above the tank and I had to release the fittings (plastic pieces that push together with a pair of long nose pliers and the line slides off). The electrical connector has a red horse shoe shaped lock clip that you pull straight out to release the connector and then using a strap wrench you can rotate the lock ring, take it off and the pump comes out (remember where the rubber gasket was located as it needs to go back in the same spot). Once this is done the pump goes back in, lock ring is screwed on tight, electrical connector replaced and red lock piece is pushed back in, filter lines are snapped back together, tank is raised, straps reconnected, engine fired and the assembly is checked for leaks. If all is well, jack is lowered and jack repositioned to raise her up to remove the jack stands and away you go. i bought a Master pump (new) at
Advance auto parts and though some people warned me about these pumps, I now have just at 40,000 miles on this pump and she still runs just fine. If you decide to do this, get a Haynes manual as it will really help to understand the procedure and you can email me at [email protected] if you need help (cyber or virtual help).
