1993 Camaro z28 lt1 t56. Engine is out of a 94.

The car is acting weird when it is at idle, sometimes the rpms drop really low like around 500, sometimes it stalls out but normally doesn't. Recently its started staying in the 2000rpm range at idle, at certain times. As far as I can tell there is no rhyme or reason to when it idles at 500 or 2000 rpms, normally it stays around 1000.

From past experience of a similar nature of irradic idle speed,
My suggestion is to "Thoroughly" check for vacuum leaks first.
This could save you a lot of hassels , time and money in the long run.

Vacuum leaks - even small ones - can cause some strange behavior of idle speed control

Yes. It didn't run before the swap, so I'm not sure if it was doing it before though.
