if the fuel pump fuse was blown or even if the fuel pump was bad, the car would still crank. are you sure it is the fuel pump fuse? i never heard of this before hmmm...because when i had my 95 town car and i needed a fuse for the fuel pump the car would still crank. it turned out the problem was my fuel pump was on its way out and it finally went. but even with a blown fuse AND a blown pump the car would still crank but just wouldnt turn over...this is strange. does the car make ANY kind of noise when you turn the key? does is make a click noise or a series of click noises? could be a bad electronic ignition or a bad camshaft position sensor. could be a starter or starter solinoid. can you give me some more info?

Hello,
The TC does have a fuel pump relay. It is usually located under the hood. I could point it right out to you under the hood of an '89, but the 90 is different. These can go bad--and yes maybe it would blow a fuse as well. It certainly would be worth checking that before assuming the pump is bad. If you get no other help here, try Lincolnsonline site also. Usually a pump will just quit without blowing a fuse--seems unlikely that it would be that.
