I did a search and it looks like 14.5PSI is the limit, but that is for 93 octane correct? What is the most you can boost and still be safe with 91 octane?
Also what is the boost set at for 92 stock stealth TT?\
Thanks

Stock it's around 10 maybe. Get a real boost gauge before you do anything other than the free boost mod. Also the 14.5psi thing depends on alot, I think it's foolish to be boosting that high without datalogging. Since you have a first gen, a datalogger should be your first mod. On 91 octane, I wouldn't go higher than stock levels. Even on 93 I stick with 13.5/14

I have a boost guage and controll, gutted cats and downpipe. So would 12PSI be risky on 91 octane?

and for a data loger how is this

You can get away with 12psi on 91 octane, granted every car is different, and alot of factors can cause knock, so when people say you can get away with x amount of boost, or should be seeing x amount of power...it's always relative, and modding your car is your own responsibility.

As far as the LM1, I have no personal experience with it whatsoever. Linebckr has some great posts on dataloggers I would check out. They are definantly cheaper, plus scanning over that description, it seems you have to buy something additional to be able to datalog in real time. Meaning, if you get a palm pilot off ebay adn some free/cheap software, you can actually view what is being datalogged as you are on the road. LM1 you need to take home and hook up to a computer, or additionally get a laptop or palm or whatever to view it in hte car. Lastly, I don't know all the parameters the LM1 scans for. I didn't see any mention of knock counts, the ability to control specific cylinders, the ability to pull codes from the ecu, etc.

i love keeping cars stock, just my opinion. tho some cars when modded are to the better, such as ours, the civic, is almosst always overdone

^you've gotta remember, like igo said, a lot of things are variables in this formula. A car can knock for several reasons(altitude, intake temp, ignition advance, bad gas, etc...), so the datalogger is definitely a neccessity before tuning.
