That looks excellent! The pros in here should be running scared with the results of this S2000. Nice, smooth paint application and well detailed interior. That's the first hardtop version I've seen someone do. Looks much better than that soft top version I have.

to answers hopefully all of your color questions...
the body was painted with an arctic blue shade from Duplicolor
the interior was painted with a mix of tamiya acrylics including: Sky grey, clear blue and flat blue. i used the clear blue because i wanted to give it a little gloss. from past experiences, i find that simulating leather with flat paints doesnt work well imo. so i used clear blue more than i used flat blue to give it at least a bit of gloss... probably a bit less than a semigloss finish. looks much better to me that way. thanks again
oh yeah, as for the stand, its the base of an IMEX display case. it comes with a clear top. the textured bottom doesnt come with the display case. normally the base is just solid plack plastic. there is a sheet of street-like material made by tamiya taped on top of it. found the sheets at hobbylinc.com for $5+change each. each sheet can be used for 3 displays of that size. hope that makes sense.

wow it looks amazing, i bet you can actually pass it off as a real car if you photoshoped the background. most models that ive seen no matter how good its been done dont look realistic, theres just something about it that you can tell its a model.

Yup thats me... i kinda needed a break from that model for a bit, but im still working on it in the background. i stripped the paint and did a little work on the bumper and skirts.. they didnt look as smooth as i wanted with the paint on them. they look loads better now. i will prime her up this week and maybe have a layer or two of paint on it by the weekend. be patient
