engine noise

I have a 94 Accord EX with 90K miles. At idle and low rpm there is faint rattling/knocking noise coming from the engine. When the engine is cold the noise is not present. Above 1Krmp (approximately) the noise is not present. Has anyone had similar experience?

Might be that something is loose. You will have to open up the hood and hear exactly where it is coming from. Once you've narrowed down the area of the noise exactly, maybe some suggestions will come through. And by listening, I mean a little more specific than just the engine bay.

I dont know if your Accord is as loud as mine (mine is 1991) Nothin is wrong with my engine but WOW its LOUDER then a fart in church!

does it happens at idle and when you have the ac on???

if the ac is on theres nothing you can do about it.
you can chek the belts and pulls but still the noice will contin

have you own the car since the first day, or you bought it used???
have you redline line the car a lot. cause it may need valve adjustment.......
