realy awesome race

so im driving home from my moms house with my wife. now to start off i guess i should tell you all i dont race with my wife in my car infact this night i passt up an easy kill 2000 civic vs my civic. his ass. so i glanced at him aND told my wife it killing me but i wont race him.. so i didnt. well on the way home from where we went i spot some guys on the side of the road. hazards on and both cars look sueped.. so idown shift and gas it... well bout a mile dowen the road
two cars are behind me getting on i 10 im like wow. so i shoot out theexit onto i 10... well this older model accord fucking flys past me. so i guess he had a turbo/super one of em.. he freaking flewwww.
so i go as fast as my civic can go. and catch him when another honda with a V6 LX emblems on the back. im like v6 my ass. so i drop into 4th and fly passt him.. yes terribly with my wife in the car ..(told her to boucle up)
he trys to get me again and in my head i say i will let him but all of a sudden i changed my mind and dropped into 4th again and left his 'v6' ass
so for about 109 miles all three of us are so breaking the speed limit down i 10 sometimes 100 sometimes not.. sometime over.. well i get in front and exit.. and so do they... i got realy excited and asked my wife if i could race she said no .:rolleyes: me and the v6 civic :o are side by side at the lite all three of us are revin on the yellow realy hard i was in 4000 rpms maby more.( just got the new gauge)

light turns green and we all take off.. i squeeled a bit but took off niceley. very nicely... i was at 40 in maby 2 seconds i took em both ..
i just added an intake. and i know i owe it all to the extra couple horeses i got from it.. that was the best experiance ive ever had in street racing ... my heart was beating out my chest but fuck i beat the pants off that 'v6' civic.. dout it was v6 ive heard theres no way a v6 can fit... aight later.

Racing with your wife in the car. Very stupid. What if you all had an accident and something happened.

If you are gonna race then risk your own life, not others.

cmon guys its not like we were going 100 mph. well except on the interstate. i only race 20 mph over the limit then the race is over unless its away from cops view in a secluded part of town something like that.
i wouldnt go crazy with my lady in there.

Yea, my girlfriend did the same thing when she found out how I paid off my car by mysteriously vanishing every friday night. So now I dont race with her in the car and I don't tell her when I race. Simple as that... and she has no idea so she doesn't worry.

She said she could never ask that of me, and infact as soon as she is a good enough driver with her own car, she wants to race me

We have been together in many races, I would do anything to protect her, and with anyone else in the car, they know the risks when they let me race.

Don't get me wrong. I love racing. I am not against street racing. I wish I was doing it right now. But it's immoral to put someone else's life on the line during a race.

I wish my girlfriend would let me street race. But being with her is more important to me that racing. I can always race on the track.

nothing i hate more then people racing with there girl with them, now a friend thats not so bad because they enjoy it. they make the decision as well. like smoke him or something .but with your girl in your car that just looks so stupid. desprate even. this was unavoidable. and she didnt mind it all that much .. a little bit, but not to much. i agree its very wrong . ive had dumb asses do that to me. but even after the race show off and drive wrecklessly with there girl in the car. and sometimes she looks like she likes it. depends,

fly rice racer... settle down dawg. Before I started going out with her it was like every week. Now I'm lucky if I get out there once every month or so and I do let her know (or she finds out) but I dont always (or ever... ) race anymore. I used to but now I'm looking to modify my car some more, push 300HP or so before I go back out

I'm not lying to my g\f. She didnt tell me not to, she just worries about me when I do so I don't tell her until after so she doesnt worry.

Just relax player. I'm not taking her with me, shes not in any harm. I just don't like her to worry. Plus she doesnt really know how the stuff goes down because I refuse to take her with me so she just worries because she thinks fast cars and bad stuff could happen but she doesn't know anything. It's just to protect her. ;-) But I see where you're coming from and you're right. I have almost ceased to race at all sice I've been dating her because it worries her but every once in a while.

Cyprus106 I'm chilled out now. It's all good. I wanna go race sometime soon. My girlfriend decided the other day to put our relationship on hold. GRRR. So now that I have a freedom window of a couple of weeks I can go do whatever I want.

yea, I think that was an overstatement in all honesty. I ordered a 150 shot of NOS and with the money I've got set aside for a turbo I think I can get a few more ponies out if it. I'm also in the incredibly long process of planning a B18C5 Engine swap. I would really like that Civic SI engine but there's only like 20K miles in my engine right now and it would be a waste to replace it now, considering my lack of cash flow.

We've been going out for over a year. I'm 20 and she is 22. She has started having panic attacks about 3 months ago. So she needs to get back into a rythm to control problem. Our relationship had also kinda started to get on the rocks too. The whole seperation thing happened on NOPI Nationals weekend. She was supposed to go with me to the show, but cancelled hours before we were to leave because she had to work. While I'm in Atlanta she won't take my calls or anything. When I get back she won't see me for a couple of days. She was afraid I was gonna be mad that she didn't go.

Because she stared having these panic attacks I have all of the sudden become the asshole boyfriend in her parents eyes. They basicaly hate me now, so i guess they will make the picture perfect in-laws.......lol.

I've asked a lot of girls what I should do and they all tell me to give her time. Which of course is the toughest thing to do.

But I do have confidence that all will sort its way out. She is my best friend and we really don't talk to anyone else but each other.

I know ya'll are probably skeptical but love is blind and I still have that loving feeling. Wish me me luck!

(not trying to be a dick, just seen this happen to too many people, just to end in missery)

She is an only child. If you have ever known anyonewith panic attacks they will tell you that it feels like you are going crazy. So it's important for me to be there with support and not put pressure on her. She has a lot of medical problems besides the panic attacks. She has to take 6 pills before she can even eat a meal because she has a lot of gastro-intestinal problems. I have always been there to help her and never once got mad at her when she gets sick all the time. Her family is wierd.....i think that they hate everybody.

When she let me know that she wanted some space she did let me know that we would go
out again sometime in the future.

She has never lied to me, so I beleive her.
